Ok, so i am trying to create a glass tunnel that allows the player to travel through a pool of water containing an icthy but whenever i compile the map i get a strange rendering error where the player is in the tunnel but none of the walls that are around the room show up. it shows the same view as if you had noclip on and were outside of the level. i know i read somewhere that the source engine has problems rendering water behind glass but i cant find how to fix it. any help would be awesome.

Strangly enough, some of hl2's transparant textures are vis blockers. Try turning the glass parts into func_detail.
