Greetings,
Anyone figured out a way to shut off the automatic suit sounds ("Major fracture detected", etc)?
Thanks in advance,

The only way I can think of is by creating a custom mod and adding blank sound files with the exact same names and paths as the HL2 suit ones.
Tell me how this turns-out, cause i've been meaning to try myself (but can't because i'm away from home).

That IS a good idea. I don't see why you should need a custom mod either, files in the game folders get priority over files in the GCFs, so it should work without going to those lengths.
I think the suit sounds add to the charm of the game personally...
"Major fracture detected. Morphine administered"
No wonder Freeman can be so fearless, like Max Payne he's kept alive by nothing but will power and pain killers.

Cheers for the potential short cut BvS.
Aye, I like the suit sounds as Freeman, but I wanted to do a Call of Cthulhu based game for my first map/mod (Rearrange: For, Glutton, Punishment). It is all going nicely but those sounds don't fit with a normal investigator type.
