hi all,
there are a couple of old threads on this, but they haven't helped... I've got some maps with overlays running fine in them... and then another where they've stopped appearing. Plus, I don't seem to be able to add new ones - they're showing in Hammer but not in-game (the old ones are, just not the new ones)...
Any ideas? I spent ages re-building the mod files after the last update, so I don't know if something could have got screwed up there.
Thanks
Dan

i had the same thing once. then i found, when i checked for problems in hammer (alt+p), that they all had some missing angles (or something like that) problem.
if you have the same, then highlight one, and usethe 'fix all of type' button.
i eat paint

Are you sure the right brush faces are selected for the overlays?
Reality has become a commodity.

Thanks for both of those. Angles were missing but that hasn't solved it. It does look like the overlays have shifted to the wrong side of the brushes (how and why they've done that I don't know). I've re-selected the brush faces but that doesn't solve it. Also, I've checked back on an earlier version of the map where they are showing and the brush face is consistent - in fact, all the values are consistent. Also tried sliding the overlay forwards but that doesn't work either.
Any more ideas would be really gratefully received - thanks
