I just noticed something while running around my latest map dm_striker. I placed a slam near the top of a ladder, and when I climbed up the ladder, I tripped the mine before completely exiting the ladder. It was then I noticed that I re-spawned directly on top of the ladder, a place where I distinctly knew there was no spawn point. So I tried it again in several different places. It occured in tight spots mostly, where you tripped the mine before completely exiting the ladder. I suspected that something may be wrong with the way I was creating ladders, but they'ere so simple I could'nt imagine what, so I started up dm_hiatus and tried it again. Same thing. If I trip the mine before completely exiting the ladder I spawn on top of the ladder where there is NO spawn point?.
So my question is this..... Is this a problem? It does'nt seem to crash the maps on servers?.

Just confirming that this happens to me too on both custom and Valve official maps. I have no idea what causes it. How... obscure. Valve might not even know about this, and I'd bet they're the only ones in any position to do anything about it.

Hmm... It seems... Intended. Like Valve added a respawn.where-you-died-and-keep-fighting function and then removed it due to obvious gameplay issues but didn't get it all right. Or were to lazy to get the job done properly?
Whatever the reason, this is W E I R D.
Valve... This is a phail. Really.
Just another guy trying to make a map...
