Ok, I am having this wierd effect, spot lights are not casting on the walls, like washing down them... the area is really dark.. except where the spots are coming from above the normal lights do this wierd bouncing and flickering as you move about the area.

I thought maybe it was a leak, but I boxed that area in and tried it and still the same deal. I did a check for problems and have none.. so.. what now?

Could more than one sky box cause the problem? I took the light enviroment out and still have the problem, with it in or out of the map. I only have one. But I have 3 sky boxed areas that are not connected. Do I need to raise the box and have the whole map under one?

the area this is happening at is the subway landing area.. other parts seem to be fine.. but this area is acting wierd.. its starting to make me angry... because I can not figure it out.

I have removed the rest of the map and just kept this part and saved it as another map name.. there are two spots, one up, and one down. I then added a light.. I made no changes to any of the lighst and you'll see here... Can a texture do that? I do get the red texture things when I load the map after the compile... if thats the case I will go in and find a new texture to use.

glad it worked out :)

one other thing if you're not aware, light_spots like to malfunction if their origin is within model geometry
