erm, does that mean I have to put my map on my 'pit' if I want to show it at all? I have my own webspace. oh yeah, I'm not making any more HL maps anyway

No, but it does mean you have to have it listed in your profile :razz: But I didn't change things to 'force' people to list maps, it's really more of a 'linking' kinda thing which is going to lead onto something better soon, and to stop people from asking editing questions in here!

Just a little bug-ish thingy I just noticed-

Someone commented on my "map" in my profile, and "teh snrakput" automatically sent me 2 PMs instead of just one stating that someone had, in fact, commented on my map.

Dunno if its just a fluke, but its a bit odd.

Seems like a decent place to post it, I suppose.

I say move the screenshots to below the green bar instead of in the top right.

I kinda like 'em where they are... If you move them, then there would just be this big void over on the right.

And yeah, to earlier, of course this site will support other games- notice the embryonic Half-Life 2 bit :razz: I was thinking about Halo for a bit too- MP mapping can't be that hard!- but everyone's still waiting for modding tools to be released... I'm quite happy to add new games if it turns out there are a bunch of people here who are likely to put up maps or tutorials for it.

looks like a pretty damn nice map there lepper....im gonna find time to run through it soon....hell, i thought youd given up on it....lol

maybe im wishing here lep. but imho, if you put as much up to more sections for more games, youll be amazed at the response...

I'm quite happy to add new games if it turns out there are a bunch of people here who are likely to put up maps or tutorials for it.

I think the problem is that new things like this require new people coming to the site to post stuff, but they can't do that if the section doesn't exist yet... I think you have to put up a place for e.g. CoD stuff, then either some existing members and a few new members will put stuff there, and it will all be smiles and happyness, or the section will just just die, and it will be tears all round, but at least you could just delete the section.
