Ok before i start ( begin the flaming.... )
Now we pause for 10 mins.....
ZZZZZZZZ
OK now to bisness
Now... i did what gollem did
made a trigger_relay.... and i named it relay1... like he said then the time to 300.. for 5 secconds 10 for testing purposes... so now im waiting at the door for over a min.... and its not opening... and the trigger state... its set to ON... should it be on smething elts?.... i mean... that would be gay if u had to step on it.. and none did and u waited the whole game and the door never opend... :\\
so flame me alll u want... i have searched the tut's for this and didnt find it...
EDIT >>>> The door is named Door1 and the delay b4 close i put it at -1 ( stays open all time.... )
--- PS --- flame me i dont care ill ignore it

What are you trying to make again? a door that opens, you dont "need" a trigger relay, you just need a trigger that targets whatever the door's name is.

Ye Gods, that's enough of the "quit flaming me" polemic! Every post you make contains a reference to flaming. What is your problem? Were you abused on another forum?
Now, if you spent less time worrying about flaming and more time worrying about communicuting your editing problem, it would be much easier to help. As it stands, your post is barely coherent.
A delay of 300 is 5 minutes, not 5 seconds. If you want to test the setup, use a delay of 10. Also, you may need to tick the "Toggle" flag.

Okay, a trigger_auto entity targeting the door with a 'delay before trigger' of 300 and trigger state to 'toggle' should do it. Set the 'delay before trigger' to about 10 though first, just to make sure it works.

thats fine man, im glad.....but i really think you should take a day or two and tweak it....work on the architecture, make it interesting to the player, in both sight, and gameplay....if you have done concmaps as you say, then you know a bit about steering your gameplay....know what i mean?....make em want to play it again, and again.....dont just settle for something thrown together.....please....i am really seriously trying to help you here man....but take it for what its worth to you....and why not at least TRY for perfect...i know its not realistic, but then again, this is HL....

Bah humbug. You're wasting your time.
(I didn't remove my last post, Brasso. If I had, I wouldn't have signed it "-Lep").
