still a great map maze man. i wish i had had time to critique it before its release, i noticed a few things i would have mentioned in one. none blatant errors though.

i just wish that annoying water sound would not happen, i can always count on my power running to not function when its doing it.

This is a really awesome level wow it looks soooooo good and it will never make you dull. hmmmmm i love it, dont change anything it rocks and so it should stay the way it is. make more maps like this one, i hate shady dark maps, thats why this one is cool.

I have been running this map on my server since I started it up 2 months ago. It has a good mix of openness and tight spaces. I have a 12 slot server and it fills up everytime this map cycles around! The only real bugs are the ones Valve needs to fix and the wall under the peer that you can walk into and hide.

We run this map in our rotation and recommend it for your server. It has good game play, handles lots of players, is fun to play and looks great!

I've seen this map on almost every HLDM server on line. WOW, I didn't know you were here at Snarkpit.

One of my favourite maps for HL2DM. The only thing that really distracts me is that there are no cubemaps. It's strange to see a non-existing sunset mirroring on my gun.

Not really sure whats up with the cubemaps problem. There are definitely cubemaps in there, you can download the source .vmf file and check yourself. Any more details on the problem? Screenshots?

I'm not going to re-release the map, but it would be nice to know what the problem is for future reference.

Thanks.

Played on this map plenty of times, has quite varied, vertical gameplay which is cool and rather different, plenty of little details and looks really great. Very fun to play; a great map!

Also props on releasing the .vmf source file - I know most people don't want to do this and I entirely understand it, but it's quite respectable that you did. :)

"Not really sure whats up with the cubemaps problem"

I know im like 2 years late, but just sharing information here.

The only way i can get my cubemaps to work after building them ingame is to type retry, this immediatley crashes my hl2.exe to desktop but when i load back in they seem to have worked.

Disconnecting and reloading the map doesnt make them work for me for some reason, anly a retry (then crash) then reload game and map. Strange to say the least.

The joys of hammer and source ;)

Nick, when you get time I really need to gab at you about some of the things you did in the VMF.

If possible we need to chat in real time. Lemme know when will be good for you.

Check your email. I'd be happy to try to help but I may not be of much assistance since I haven't mapped in a long time.
