Map description:

This is my highway 17/coast based map for the HL2DM contest. All buildings are explorable. There is also a sewer area which I recreated from HL2 because I liked it so much.

*A really big thank you goes to Brian 'Warfle' Durar as he helped me with problems and supported me along the way.

What catches my eye? all or most of the debris is on top of the ground. even the dented shipping crate. the map is to clean. it looks like the stuff was tossed in as an after thought.
prolly needed more feedback before it hit 100%. shrugs or better feedback. i hate to see maps with "complete" stamped on them, and its my first view of them :/

other than that, i think it looks great.

The crates look like they've been placed in a line, but what bugs me most is that water, it's all in such a straight line! Displace that sand more!

I agree with Orpheous and Myrk on this one. The overall layout looks great, but things look too clinically placed about it. The crates are lined up, and the water line is perfectly straight. If you've ever been to a beach, you should know that the shoreline is a very organic shape, with not a single straight line anywhere to be seen. Aside from those glaring flaws, I think it's shaping up great.

You'd think the crab cannister would be open...

Besides that and what is mentioned above - great!

Very nice. Great job! I hope you put a download for it though. And the "read more"
link leads to one of those Google ad pages.
