Is there a way to set different weapon modes in CS, like only knife or only guns or something?

I'm not sure if its an editing question... hmm...

But anyways, AFAIK its not possible. Well, in certain circumstances you can have knife-only or "only a certain gun" games, but its map-specific (ie. its done with entities in the map).

No, I'm not asking an editing question. I wanna know if there is a console command or anything that I use to make only knifes or only guns or something available. Is there no other way than making the same map with different weapons available?

this "IS" an editing question, by any definition... and one i believe that has been asked a few times..

IMO, an editing question, is one asked, that will eventually effect the outcome of the map released, course thats a pretty broad statement, obviously, asking if winzip, or winrar is a better archiver to release with is not editing related, but asking how to alter weapons is.

had you used the system properly, you might have located the answer, assuming it was asked before, but you assumed you were correct in it being NOT editing related.

/ 2 cents

I wondered if there was a way to do this in any map. Not only maps by myself, but any map, so I don't think of it as an editing question.

there is, but its a kind of complicated process if you arent mappy-savvy

its a matter of changing certain entities in the map... its pretty volitile, though. dont screw with any lights or anything hehe

It seems quite complicated, but I'll give it a try
