Hey guys, i've got a stash of college text books in my room that I want to get rid of. So far i've been selling my stuff on Amazon, but some of the book listings are for 0.01$ (lowest denomination of american currency for those non-american types), and thats not worth my time or resources to bother... Some of these books are dated (in terms of editions), but I hate to throw them out and be wasteful. Any ideas fellas?

Don't quote me on this but I have lived in three college towns, Conway Arkansas, Belton Texas and Fort Smith, Arkansas and all three had book stores that specialized in new/used text books.
I suggest looking into that. You may only get 10 to 50% of their worth but hey...
The best things in life, aren't things.

Lots of options, there's Half.com and ebay where you'll, likely, get a better deal. There's used book stores in your area. And there's the third option which may or may not give you the most dividend which is donation. You can write off donations on your taxes, so if you give a detailed list you could get some money taken off by the government.
Chances are you might want to just check something like half.com and see if they're selling those same books and for how much. If you find a local store that takes used books, always find out how much you'd get before agreeing, of course.
What books are you getting rid of anyway? I've kept nearly all the books I amassed going to school. Except for that technical writing book, screw that thing.
Blame it on Microsoft, God does.

I kept my algorithm books. Plenty of useful info in them, especially when I forget how to use some of them >_>
