My brother has an issue with a certain excel sheet.

Once he added a custom font in the file, the file became very slow to work with, even after the removal of the font. Any action takes much longer to load now, especially changing the color of texts and actions alike.

We've also noticed that the file uses about 220MB Ram. Is that normal? The sheet is quite big, but it worked just fine before adding the font.

Thanks in advance

Open it in different spreadsheet software and see if it's still an issue. (Like OpenOffice or LibreOffice)
Blame it on Microsoft, God does.

Sorry for the late response, but thank you for your time, we tried to open it in Libreoffice but it wouldn't open the file at all (some error occurred I believe)

However, when we copy + pasted everything from the file into a new sheet, everything was just fine.

I'm still not sure why it happened, but at least it's solved now.

The file was probably corrupted in some way.
Blame it on Microsoft, God does.

When I'm 50 I'll go back to this topic and hope that I'll magically understand the joke.

afaik, Dutch is your language, right?
When I was a kid, in dutch meant either in debt, or being in the wrong.

So, your program was in dutch because it was screwing up.

Sounds way more funny when its a known joke but perhaps it will make sense now. :hee:
