Download : Valve Hammer Editor 3.5.2 Setup

Hi all , i make an new update of my version of hammer 3.5.1 posted in this forum in 2009 , the new version content are:
  • added new fgd file ( half-life_352.fgd ), edit the file to see the change.
  • added some texture dev like in Half-life 2 editor made by JPolito, modified by me to add more texture dev from others wads, new name file "jp_dev_plus.wad" , and i made "entity.wad" that regroup all textures dev entity found in others wads and maps.)
  • added all compilers tools existing at this day ( ZHLT 34, SHLT 3.9, SHLT AO, Vluzacn 27 )
  • updated colors for weapons models (in red) , ammos models (in yellow) and some items 3D (in green,pink,blue),
and removed smoothing groups polygons for better view inside worldcraft.
  • updated colors for the static 3d model player for info_player_start, info_player_deathmatch and info_playercoop

*_shortcut key Ctrl+Shift+S "Save &as"
*_shortcut key Ctrl+Shift+M "Save to .map"
*_shortcut key Ctrl+Shift+D "Save to .DXF"
*_shortcut key Shit+Escape "Close opened map"

*_fixed bugs (block tool] primitive objects not corresponding(arch, wedge , block and spike) in hammer 3.5

*_New cursors.
  • added new starting logo from the recent logo valve hammer editor 4.0.
  • added the template map txt file from globalassault.
and the new things in the file "half-life_352.fgd" are:

*Added angles to trigger_camera.
*Added angles key to ambient_generic for direction to emit sound
*Added angles key to infodecal
*Added angles key to info_target
*Added angles key to env_glow
*Added angles key to trigger_relay
*Added angles key to func_illusionary

based on counter strike condition zero fgd.
  • added hammer floating point patch and A hammer grid hack patch made by Vluzcan. (The first patch blocks Hammer from converting plane coordinates to integers when exporting .map file and the second patch extends the limit of 4096 units to 16384 units, for bigger maps, but its recommended you use Vluzacn's custom compilers for this, and only use the extended grid to build world brushes) Warning you must apply these patches to have a working floating and grid hack hammer version.
  • added some new fgd files from others mods.

Others things that coming soon on my homepage for HL goldsrc fans:

I will do a pack with all tools for HL editing with proper install setup, and the next thing that take me 3 months to do on/off , its the sorting of all my HLDM maps in terms of quality(+ 2200 maps from my HD) make since 1998 found on internet, all best HLDM maps pack by authors name, best misc HLDM maps pack and best HLDM killbox maps packs with proper install setup, and another pack its models pack to remplace weapons monsters some sounds etc...

All this will be available soon on my homepage, for the moment hammer 3.5.2 is near to be complete for the setup installation, all Best HLDM maps pack are ready and uploaded on my homepage (no links available for the moment need to create the page), the tools packs need only the script installation setup to be complete, and the models pack need some change on certains model to be complete.

All these mappers have his personnal maps pack setup installation, it's for easy use to study a mapper that you like to see his maps, no more waste time to search maps made by the same mapper on internet or your HD, for the killbox map pack and hldm best multiplayer pack, i do my best to have the txt file companion of the bsp file but sometime i have only the bsp :( .

Does anyone know if Hammer 3.5.1 will have any conflicts with Hammer 3.4?

Its really odd. I see on google that there are links everywhere for Hammer 4.1, but they all lead back to Hammer 3.4 or 3.5.
Is there or is there not a 4.1?

I found a new version of Hammer from russian forums (made by XaeroX), some change are already in 3.5.2, but Xaerox fixed some bugs, like checkbox flags and add button Clear flags, i don't know how i can make this fix in 3.5.2 because it's hexadecimal patch, i don't have this knowledge :(.

Here the list features translated by google translate.

List of features:

1) Fixed rounding of origin for export to MAP (available in 3.5.2)

Dunno if there's a download for it, I have the Source SDK on Steam which includes VHE. Dunno how long it's been at that version or what the differences are though.

Anyone remember when it was called Worldcraft way back when?

Wild C sir i was looking hard past few monts for Half*life Expert.fdg
Can find CS expert.fdg due to permanent interest in this mod even in this days
But i have no need for it, what i desperately need is Hl expert.fdg to work more effectively, easily. lets be honest here i need to see shit in "World craft"

Im not sure in particular due to i never put my hands on it.
But main main feature is the ability to see en-tities also models in Hammer like when you craft for Source. And thats significantly (clear) helpfull
