since cod files aint working atm to download the win98 files.

and when you have time to download them you have to wait hours on fileplanet just to begin download

ive managed to get them and uploaded them onto gimps webspace for download

Hu? Do we loose snarkmarks for replying in topics that a mod has decided has come to a close or something?

I just couldn't see any reason for having the option to deem a thread as 'case closed', other than to try and stop people from beating a dead horse.

OK, so because it was never a question, you marked it as 'answered'? I still don't get it.

Because otherwise it just stays as a question forever and ever, and appears on the CoD editing page as such...

Yeah this happened with my little "radiant hammer" thread... I couldnt say anyone was correct, because noone suggested their posts as answers... the question did get answered but I couldnt mark it as correct, so I suppose a mod (whoever it may be) decided to make it stop appearing as a question...

Hey, just thought of something: Lep, you really should get rid of the "no" option for suggested answers. I hate the red!

glares

politically correct or not, sometimes an answer is correct, but happens to be less so than the accepted one.

wrong answers should revert to green so they have a chance later of being accepted if they are searched out, cause next time the person might chose answer #2.

marking them red, signifies wrong forever.. and that sucks.

The only trouble with the "wrong answer" button is that the person who pushes it may himself be wrong. But you've got to accept that as a limitation of the system, frustrating though it may be on occasion.
