i downloaded spirit of half-life 1.2
and read through the readme..

now it mentions that there are compile tools provided with it.. but i don't have them.. :sad:

is there somewhere i can download them or have i got the wrong end of the stick...

they should be in the spirit folder, tho ... I think they're just Zoner compile tools.

well i haven't attempted to map for spirit yet..
but if there just zoners then i'll give it a try..

put all the stuff it takes to map with in the hammer folder, you can map for any mod this way, you don't need to make specific folders for them that are mod dependant. just make a folder called "tools" in the hammer folder.

and try zoners 2.5.3 first

2.5.3-17 second.

if 2.5.3. works don't bother with anything newer as they sometimes cause more issues than solve.

the spirit folder im talking about is the actual mod folder in the half-life main folder.. the one with valve and cs folders...

but i'll try those zoner compile versions

thats all french to me.. my comment is only about mapping.. you don't need the tools anylace other than the hammer folder to map for any mod.

I beleive the compile tools that come with spirit are Custom Build 1.7, so you can use the switchable texture lights.
