Anybody got any decent photo site links? im mainly looking for wood atm, anyway here are my favs:

If your looking for high quality, tileable textures Lemog Maya 3D Graphics is the place to go. 1000's of textures. Used in Maya, but should suit most purposes with a bit of tweaking.

erm, its a very english thing to refer to close male friends as lads.

Just be careful with photo-source material from any source that does not list itself as public domain or royalty free. Though mainly an issue with face photos, any point where anything is noticed could mean potentially big trouble.

theres always that, but THIS site korn says its ok to use their stuff.. if i read it correctly at the bottom.

i could see it if it were a personal image, but wood grains would be a bit hard to say "thats my work"

forgot to say anything, I still havent finished skinning it, infact I havent done too much because the model isnt finished yet :/

the 1st model test was fairly successfull but also quite funny. the angle was totally wrong because the model had no bones in it at all.
