So I got ATC this summer

Last year I got to fly. This year I wanted part2. Unfortunatly, things didnt play into my favor. A good friend of mine did get Power, but I didnt. Instead, they gave me ATC. (Air Traffic Controler) So instead of playing pilot with a plane, I play God with a computer :biggrin:

The great thing is though, there is only one ATC training center in all of Canada. No Im not going for a trip, ATC is at Trenton, CRGS (Central Region Gliding School). The same place I was last summer. Good times Good times.

Well, at least now that I know I'm going somewhere, now I have to start working. Things I'll need:

a shoe box :biggrin:

I dont have a laptop so gotta make something big, fit into something small. And a shoebox is about the right size. And my cadet PT shoes came with one. Here starts the project. looks over travel orders I leave on July 4th and I get home again on August 14th. Now I've been there before and they have quite the awesome autoCAD lab open for us... ahh the many games UT in which I 0wned in all of them. I'll most likely keep in touch.

I think he plans to take his pc apart and stuff it into a shoebox. In which case all I have to say is... wow you got some big feet.

Thats the plan...

The autoCAD lab is open at times and there are 30+ computers there and last year we all had the UT demo installed and played matches after matches. (I did of course own them all)

The shoebox idea is because it would be better to have my own computer. And my PDA charges itself by computer (batery pack) so it would probably die over the 6 weeks if I left it at home.

Have a look at the shuttle cases mate :smile: About the size of a shoebox,
certainly small enough to fit inside a rucksack or something. Failing
that have a glance at the mini-itx boards because I doubt you'll get a
full sized pc inside a shoebox without buying SOME new components (PSU
springs to mind)
