i been thinking of upgrading recently.. as with all of us i suppose.
my question, is anyone in the US have a big card they would be willing to sell?
i mean, i noticed a few of you, already have large cards, but still plan on getting bigger ones..
i was wondering, maybe one of you would rather recoup a bit of your past expenditure, and help a fellow pitter move a step up in the process.
currently, i have a 64 meg ATI 9000 agp 4x card.. if you have a bigger card and would be willing to part with it, gimme a holler.

Sorry, I'm not buying a new one until the end of the year (its just not worth the upgrade right now). And I'm sticking my current card in a media computer. (which will be so awesome!)
Orph, do you know of any ... "free" ... TV tuner programs?
Oh, also, cards arn't too expensive at the moment, if you waited until the next generation stuff actually came out, this generations stuff will be dirt cheap.
You could probably scoop up a FX5900XT for like $80-$110, and a 9800XT for around the same price. The key factor is patience.

my goal, some people have more money than sense, and upgrade often.. if they are gonna scrap a big card, i will buy it, assuming its a value..

I would be too, taking that it has about the same amount of power as a GeForce 2
Never buy an MX card ... they're terrible. (for future notice)

Not really, orph.
They find more efficient methods to do the same things  So, it really depends on what you mean by "beefed up"
sloth, yes, yes I would, because it would still not be able to play the thing I'd want it to play.
I'm sure the MXs could do better if you just majorly overclocked them and put on a very nice fan (most of them just have heatsyncs).
Or, you could just buy a new card later on.
