Some guy pulled it off to play the complete original HL game in 45:45.

Quite amazing ... he uses tripmines to hop on, and skips whole parts of levels with cool tricks

Yeah, I saw another one where some guy completed in one hour. This is basically the same, except he skips half of Unforseen Consequences (by somehow getting a slave to teleport into the chamber, and then using this slave to jump up into the control room) and the entierty of We've Got Hostiles (he pushes the panicky scientist at the beginning into the control room door so it opens, and he just opens the silo doors from there).

He also went on top of the map into the sky on a couple other levels that the origional guy didn't.

It's impressive, but i'd still personally like to see (but not watch,
haha) how fast the game could be completed in a single sitting and
without taking "hax" shortcuts across the top of cliffs etc..

Kind of loses it's edge the second time round as well.. someone needs
uber hax to finish it in 10 minutes and really flabbergast everyone

Dude, that's easy. Just follow these steps:

1. Open console

2. Type "map c5a1"

3. Record and sit back.

Remember, It's not cheating, it's an exploit.

I'll try and fix it, but in the meantime you can quite easily edit it out either by using BBCode tags (or with the hyperlink button, if you're using the RT editor)
