the newest tools are 2.5.3 build 17 i think... but the tools you have may be good enuff if you have nothing special..
hammer 3.4 and 3.5 are newest, but some have had issues with 3.5 so use your own judgement
i suggest HLCC, but then again its still your call
and i feel this question belongs in general, not editing..

i give yah the code for my custom batch compiler, but i didnt write it so id have to check with my bro if he minds me distributing it. but its pretty simple, just drag and drop the .map file onto the batch file and it does the rest :wink:
