Does anyone watch this programme? It's on sky one in the UK (well, was) and I was just wondering if anyone did. Most people hate it because of it's mainstream approach, and automatically assume us Gamezville forumers are the same. We're not buy the way!

Yeah, I watch it sometimes. There are three different programs, game pad, gamesville, and gamer TV. Gamer TV is the best by miles because it doesn't have a studio with a bunch of people trying to look cool while trying out the latest game, before gving some pretty worthless and totally unconsidered opinion of it  Gamer TV just has articles and in-game footage, with short bits of naration inbetween (naration that doesn't include any bad jokes :heee: )

Ha ha. They did a review once, was OKish. I'm trying to get us a Half-Life specific board.

It's a sad state of affairs when the 'Games Guru' is the highlight of the show...

Oh god I have comast digital cable so I have about 900000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000

from all over the world and I have seen all three of those shows. I can't stand any of them. I would rather spend a day with Adam Sessler (http://www.g4techtv.com/xplay/index.html) than watch those shows.

OK, so it's a little babyish, but they're business minded. The guys behind it are nothing like the show, they're like you and me, gamers with a passion for gaming.

Espionix runs one nearly every night! Actually, it was him who told me about this place, so I'll find out when there is one next and post it here. Hows about that?

'tis! They usually have 45 minutes of Half-Life followed by 45 minutes of Counter-Strike. Unfortunately, I won't be playing as I'm on horrid 56K (well, not at the moment, I'm at school now!) and it takes ages to update Steam, Half-Life and Counter-Strike. Although, I am going to relative's next week who have broadband, and I can link my machine up to that and update! Woo!
