I tried out a new mod the other day and enjoyed it. The mod was Digital Paintball and I decided to take a break from another map I was making and spent a day making dpb_bootcamp. It is a paintball field that is suppose to look and feel like a basic training camp. Download the mod and my map and have fun.

If you are serious and really download it then let me know what you think.

Looks alright man, not a lot to say really - seems it's captured the
feel of a boot/training camp well enough, and from what i've seen of
other dpb maps (used to play it), would play fairly well.
Feels a little too horizontal at times - perhaps incorporate more
trenches/subterranean elements to increase the fun factor a little.
Raised dirt mounds coupled with ditches won't push the vertical plane
too much, but will certainly give it a little variation

I think Gwil has hit the nail on the head in that there isn't much to
say here. Without having played the mod (nor real paintball,
unforunately) it looks like it is suited to the sort of
gameplay, but visually its a bit boring. More vertical play would
probably be nice, not only by pushing the underground and trenches but
also with walkways or towers above the playing field.

Thanks. This will probably be the only Digital Paintball map I make though. I just made to see if it would be fun. I am thinking about making a much larger and cooler dpb map but if I do it won't be for a while. I can garauntee though if you play this map with a lot of people it will be enjoyable.

Looks nice, but try making the crates less flat.

There are no crates in the map. You must be looking at the walls. Those are suppose to be wooden walls that are holding back the dirt. See the idea of the map is that it is built out of a big dugout out hole. The outer walls about 10 feet high.

There is some exceptionally nice wood textures in RtCW.. if you have the game, look in there, if not, i might be encouraged to find my wads..
look at my double_trouble map.. it has some of them.
