I am importing a lot of images from a PDF, but they are all in CMYK colour format, and hence if I save them as a JPG image they cannot be viewed in browsers. Is there any way to set Photoshop to automatically save JPGs in RGB form, or to disable the CMYK pallette? Would save me a lot of work (there's a lot of images to do!), cheers

I'm pretty sure you could record an action to do the conversion from CMYK to RGB at the click of a button.

Open the Image.
GoTo: Image > Mode > RBG Color
Save as JPG.

I don't think there's any other way since PS its self doesn't have scripting and I don't think conversion is a command line argument.

If you have proper modules installed for Photoshop though, I believe
you can script things with Javascipt / VBscript. But since you probably
don't, I think your best bet is to use Actions. Press the record button
on the Action palette, convert the file to RGB, and save the file, then
press stop and bind the action to a function key. Now you can just open
files up and press "F2" or something and get it automagically converted
and saved. (Basically what AdamH said  )

I've never used actions before ...

ReNo, Orph, and Jeff, get ready for Hell to freeze over, I just learned something and I am admiting I was ... mistaken.
