Hey guys,
I've done some Googling, and some searching through various HL2 editing
forums (including this one) and I've found no solutions to my problem.
I'm very much a beginner with Hammer, so please bare with me.
<div style="text-align: left;">When I try to compile a map using ZHLT, I keep getting this Unknown command "-game" message
which prevents my map from compiling. Hammer is trying to add this
command switch to every program (hlbsp, hlrad, etc) that gets executed,
and I have no idea why or where this happening.
I can provide more information if need be.
Thanks.
</div>

I'm thinking that the ZHLT tools are for HL1 only. If you are trying to compile HL2 maps, these tools will not work. You have to use the series that comes with the SourceSDK.
If you are mapping for HL1 then this is the wrong forum. Use the HL1 editing board.

Also you can use the expert compile setup so you it wont add that -game switch for you.
I'm going to give a test run with those CTS's as tehy are most likely
far better than the valve standard ones. Thanks Nano for the link.

I was excited, but then I noticed the new tools were made by amckern, a well known idiot. I'll pass, thanks.
