Ive searched the problem and nothing helped me out unfortunately, my
problem is absolutely NO static_props show up whatsoever dispite them
all showing in hammer when i place them, perhaps my settings wil offer
some sort of clue...

Game Data Files = $SteamUserDir\sourcesdk\bin\hl2mp.fgd

Texture Format = Materials (Half-Life 2)

Map Type = Half-Life 2

Default PointEntity class = ai_ally_manager

Default SolidEntity class = env_bubbles

Default Texture Scale = 0.25

Default lightmap scale = 16

Cordon texture = BLACK

Game Executable Directory = $SteamUserDir\half-life 2 deathmatch

Game Directory = $SteamUserDir\half-life 2 deathmatch\hl2mp

Hammer Map Directory = $SteamUserDir\half-life 2 deathmatch\hl2mp\maps

BUILD PROGRAMS

Game Executable = $SteamUserDir\half-life 2 deathmatch\hl2.exe

BSP Executable = $SteamUserDir\sourcesdk\bin\vbsp.exe

All set to "Normal"

Under "Expert" settings ive got an option called "$bsp_exe" ticked

no, ive said before, all my props' fade distances are set as default (-1 , 0)

Ive tried reinstalling SourceSDK but this hasnt resolved the problem, i
think maybe its something to do with my GameInfo.txt? could somebody
send me their gameinfo.txt setup for HL2DM,

Right, first of all fix your leak (load up the pointfile in Hammer).

Then, try making them using prop_physics or prop_dynamic entities instead of prop_static.

thx for the advice, turns out i had a teeny tiny leak in the corner of my map (1 unit out) aligning it sorted it out :biggrin:
