hi guys, i've a big prob here, i was making a map (some big school area of mine), done it cool, worked a couple of times, compiled it many times, and i was like adding stuff to make it better, the thing is that the last time i've added something were a couple of rooftops, some textures replaced on the ground, and thing is that i'm compiling the map (by the report i think there are no errors, it's just a fast expert compiling with no lights) and now i get this big error when i try to run the map (btw, it's for HL2DM): "MaterialSystem_Interface_t::AllocateLightmap: lightmap (520x9) too big to fit in page (512x256)" , can somebody tell wot have i done wrong, cause i don't wanna start over again or stuff like that cause i worked kinda lot on this map, thanks to all who can help me.

this must be a new error, cause i have never seen it before, but if i were you i would post the entire compile log. sometimes an error, is caused by something minor before RAD

By skimming through the compile log, you didn't run RAD. When you
change the geometry of the map the way the light hits things has to be
recalculated. Put lights in your map if you don't have any and compile
with everything set to normal. Hope this works...

I think your problem may be to do with the env_cubemaps you've placed, and changing the scale (I think?) value up past 128x128 or so. You should leave their settings to default- just place them and leave them!- so try deleting them and making new fresh ones in their place.

You know that cluster error well i got it the first time ever when i spent time making a detailed room and it seemed to crash the game whenever i opened a door to the next cupboard

i kept deleting stuff but nothing changed and i noticed that the door model i used hits another model when i open it so i made cupboard bigger and recompiled and although i got the same error the game didnt crash now that could be your problem is there any doors (models) that hit other models?
