Did you try compiling your map with everything set to Normal?

I'll try to take you through it.
First, open up your map in Hammer. Save it and hit F9. A box should come up.
If the top of this new box says [Advanced] in it click the Normal button on the bottom left of the box.
You are now in the compiling window. There should be three places where
it says "Normal." Fill the choices that are next to them in.
Then check the box that says Don't run the game after compiling.
Now your map should be compiled correctly, with everything set to normal.

Well, you can't run your map in HL2/CS:S/whatever else directly from
Hammer anymore. That's why you have to check the box that says "Don't
run game after compiling." It's stupid though, Valve should have
just removed the box... :-/

Still the same problem, eh? Sorry, Killer, but I'm not sure what else
to tell you, except to probably wait for someone with better knowledge
on this problem to reply.

Dude, seriously, start typing properly, it sounds like you're in dire need of the toilet and it's hard to understand you! Post your compile log too like it asks you to when you post here!

Hit the run button. You will get a window, hit advanced, make sure every box is checked except for the lat one. DONE!

make a light entity and leave it at the normal settings, see if you get light.
