So i'm making like a silent hill type single player mod, i want to be
walking around, i teleport to the dark world map, but i want gordons
vision to become distorted like from call of duty, than slow down while
he's looking around. So pretty much he teleports with vision distorted
and can't move fast, than about 4 seconds later he teleports back to
the original world with everything fine.

Well, you can use player_speedmod for the speed modding...but as for
the distorted perception, can you describe that effect for the sorry
few of us who haven't played CoD? (though I did beat Far Cry last
night :wink: )

Eh, like the screen gets blurry and shifts from side to
side........even like the magnifying overlay would be sexy.......just
something that distorts your vision

You could make a camera look at a screen with those crazy screen lines and use an env_shake and the screen shows a dark room and the camera moves towards some white texture?
Im just guessing really but its quite simple i guess
camera (moving towards light)
tv screen that shows what the camera sees
env_shake for shaking effect
and hopefully it should work but trigger it obviously
