hey Snarks,
I have never modded b4. but was wondering if any of you had, and know how hard it maybe. Id like to change the score board idea a bit.. but I think I am going to have to mod a bit to get it right.
Score board could keep track of the winner at the end of each round... maybe I should try to make a AMX plugin that will do this instead? I dunno.
I would also like to make a mod where you could have guns that shoot colored lasers at people the color of the team they are on, custom models to fit the theme, and other little FX, like a way to power up your gun for new effects. And Arena that would/could fight back if certian things are triggerd.
I have been limited to just CS mapping, so I am not sure what I am getting into with the idea.. But I can see Laser tag Leagues and clans and all that with this idea..
Maybe we can form a team and get something going..?

Ok, Im going to put up a web page for the mod, and advertise it, hopeing that people will jump on board.
Who knows where it will go from there.. and Ill try and figure out how to do the modding myself, just in case no one jumps in to help.
No one will get paid to help, it would be all volentary. But hey the guys that did CS, look at them now.. I understand they did it for the love of the game, and it turned out to be a job for them.. who knows maybe this will for me and the others who jump on and help out.

Well good luck - I can't say I'm sanguine of your chances, but if you don't try then you are guaranteed to fail
My best advice is this: make sure you understand the fundamental purpose of your mod. Work out why it will be good - funky coloured lasers do not on their own make a good mod. (just as a cool rolling boulder does not on its own make a good map).
Have a clear vision of what you want to achieve and follow it.
