if i accidently drag the mouse in the 2d view while in vm mode it makes a doted box and wont let me select the vertexes in the 2d views anymore any way to fix it besides exiting hammer every time

could you be more specific?

you aren't refering to the light blue dotted line are you?

just hit enter/return and it will go away..

sorry i cannot be more specific without knowing more..

Make sure you are in the original viewport where you made the box, and press [Escape] to cancel or [Enter] to Select all the vertices in the crossing window.

Actually, hitting enter wont select them for some reason.  Perhaps its a glitch with 3.5 or something.  But yea, just hit enter in any of the 2D screens, the box will go away and you can select your verticies again.  This same problem occures to me sometimes but when I try to resize a brush.

no silly, i am still debugging the system.. it sounds faulty to me..

remember, i am the one who doesnt want scores ( at least not my scores )

the fact that i am actively debugging, doesnt preclude my comment is invalid..

you might try to do some too moderator :rolleyes:

omg... it is that easy to get rid of the f*cking dotted box.  AHHHAHHHHAAHHHAHHH!!! :grenade:  ...All those times i saved and had to reopen hammer
