This may help you.
Search through your textures for "wind". Choose the wind texture and have it completely surround your affected area (looks like a cloud blowing wind). Press Ctrl-T and tie it to a env_wind and adjust the settings to your liking. This may not be exactly right as I haven't messed with the wind in months.

When I tied the env_wind texture to an env_wind entity, it just takes the shape of a normal box entity..

dont see a func_wind :sad: in either the tying to it or the normal entitie box.
