                        i remember that there were a command in the console that can show u the name of the texture that u are pointing at(but for HL1....and i don't remember the command name).....i'd like to know if this command exist for hl2 too.......

                        Its one of the "impulse" commands I believe - try typing "help impulse"
in the console, as I've heard that doing so gives you a list of what

                        impulse 107 gives you the texture you are looking at, impulse 106 gives
