Anybody have a clue how they did the HL2 intro?? I am trying to figure
it out, but I am stuck in one place, the one he has the "inverted"
colors of G-Man... anyone knows how to do that??

Somehow French Toast, I doubt they managed to encode photoshop into HL2 to do inversions in game... I'd go with Forceflow's suggestion, or something similar to the rumble entities. I'd imagine such an entity is a global entity though so every player would be effected.

Well.. since I want to make just something similar to this gman's
speech, i can allow every player to be affected. I don't mind it

But umm... could it be something to do with umm... overlays??

Well, yes, but I don't fully understand the whole making process
(step-by-step), so this ain't a lot of help  And checking all those
out takes so much time that I do not have.... so perhaps someone knows
a good tut? (I have searched the whole internet but can't find it  )

Okay, I got it done, script_intro input was first to "Enable", then "SetBlendMode" to "1" and then to shut it off, "Disable"

Anyway, i have another problem, but if I cannot solve it then i'll make another topic (it is not here anyway)

mmmh weird map construction from valve! If you are comming from the
train in the station and you go true the first "door" the rest of the
map isn't there. Weird it is :S

But thx for the blend mode
