I've used hammer for almost 5 years and have never seen hat before... or maybe I have and just dont remember becuase I use hl2 hammer now.

Yeah, in HL2 Hammer it does this. Clip something up and then look closely at it, there will be the lines if it's grouped.

They aren't clip lines silly. Thats actually how the texture will be drawn ingame. I wouldn't worry about it, as it has no baring on your editor.
When I say clip lines, I am referring to the lines made by the clip tool. Those are the lines if the connection points of textures only.
Even if my explanation is 100% wrong, they can still be safely ignored. :heee:
