Necromancer said:This is probably not so helpful, but in the Half-Life folder, go to the Valve folder, and there should be a folder called logos.
As you may know from my previous post I am trying to set up a new computer. I was wondering if anyone knows how to skip the logos that appear before you start the game? I remember that on my old computer I was able to get it to skip.
Thanks.
Perhaps in the "media" folder you will find them? The video files were in "media" and deleting them did stop them from playing, but the game did not like it. It still ran but I had to navigate through a couple screens of errors. Which was probably more annoying than the actual video.

[ADMIN NOTE]:
ok, I moved this thread as well, but I went ahead and also updated the Half-Life Editing forum description to now read:
"Questions about developing for the HL engine and using Worldcraft/ Hammer."
How's that?
Also, I believe he already made this topic before you told him to put it in the editing section. This is true.
Niborius said:Agreed, but theres a more general description for each forum:
Also @Omegaslayer, the description of the HL editing forum really should be changed then since it reads "making maps using worldcraft or hammer"
