I guess the source engine simply isn't as popular with developers, independent or otherwise, as it used to be.

Also, hi!

Hey! -It's been a while since I've talked with Orph. I know he's still keeping busy, just not with the Pit. -Which, I'm afraid to say is pretty much true for a lot of people, including myself. I've been keeping the site going as a repository if anything for goldsource and Source engine tuts and FAQs. Of course, you can always upload your maps here, if the Steam Community isn't your thing.

I admit, I've been spending some of my time investigating the Unity engine as of late.

I work at an architecture firm, and I finally had the chance to try out an Oculus Rift. I wanna get our architectural BIM models into Unity engine to walk around virtually! =D

I've experimented getting architectural models into Source (since I know my way around), but it's clunky, and there's not a community attempting to do that (that I know of). Anyhow, didn't mean to derail the topic so soon.

Welcome Back! :hee: :wcc:

And no one asked, where is that G4MER fellow.. I am so hurt now.

Riven maybe expand the site to cover more engines.. this has always been a great site for mapping and creation. I am glad you have kept it alive even when it looks lifeless. Also check out that new Doom game.. its rad man.. really rad. the mapping tools for it are so next gen.
