I'm so glad you guys are keeping this place alive, every year or so I just open this site and see how my mapping days were along with this community as a whole. Most importantly, I get to see how cringe my posts were and how badly I typed english at the age of 14 hahaha. Also, seems like I pissed some of ya'll with my maps and questions (ehhm Crono, omegslayer, Cas) http://www.snarkpit.net/index.php?s=maps&map=1485 ---- still funny to this day!!

Didn't mean to sound dramatic, but honestly, I'd give anything to have these days back. Thank you for keeping this site on the internet.

Hope you're all doing well, God Bless.

[edit] Upon further reading my history, damn you guys can be mean to a teenager hahahaha

I think a few of us feel that way. I wish I'd had more "real life" in my formulative years, I'll always feel like I missed out ;(

I can safely say that we have all matured over the past twenty years.

It's dangerous for me to peruse this site, since I get stuck on any number of old threads where I know my younger self thought he was sounding so wise, but instead were shallow idioms. I gotta watch out or else I lose an hour like that jumping from one thread to another.

I can agree with you too, Dark on the wishing to have those days back. It's certainly fun to reminisce on the fun mapping feedback as well as the sometimes brutally honest feedback you could get on the Pit. No doubt it would be a different environment now if new folks were interested in continuing to map for Source; I think the feedback may be a bit more accommodating. :wcc:

Damn, I never thought this place was coming back! I can't wait to see what an a-hole I was back then. :D
I tried sniffing coke, but the ice cubes kept getting stuck in my nose.
