Been waiting for this for a long long time  I'm guessing i'll be waiting a fair time longer though...

Looks totally different from the original and its enclosed castle grounds - hopefully it won't be too different as the continuity of the original was something that really appealed to me (and in Prince Of Persia too).

Too bad I don't own a PS2! Bastards! Looks really cool, though. The design of the Colossus is superb.

Woohoo, this has been too long in coming!

/me starts to dance uncontrollably

While those shots do look very different to the original, I think that
could be a good thing. I loved every moment of ICO, but perhaps having
some degree of open area exploration, particularly if they incorporate
scenery like that surrounding the castle in the first game, could be a
nice addition to the gameplay style. There is something about riding a
horse in a game like this that really appeals to me too, though it
probably doesn't quite give the potential for companionship of Ico and
Yorda.

Replace the number with any up to 12 to see more pictures, though a lot of them are repeats.

On the gamefaqs' board people have gotten snippets of info from
translated magazines. Apparently, and I'm not sure how correct this is,
you play as a boy who is searching for the heart (possibly soul?) of a
young girl (I assume Wanda) on a different world to their own. It is
inhabited by more than one of these Collosus creatures, whom you can
fight with by climbing around on them and searching for weak points.
While you do this they will try and shake you off, which apparently
looks amazing and natural as opposed to obviously repeating animations
or anything. On the world there is apparently only the hero, the horse,
and these creatures - some of which can be many many times larger than
the hero, and some will fly or move in different ways. While the game
does look to be more open than ICO, a couple of screenshots look to be
in more familiar ICO style environments.
