<DIV>Mmm, just for anybody who'll be in the Melbourne, Australia area in the next two weeks (from last count, that's probably about three of you), some friends of mine are putting on a public LAN. It's their first attempt, but they've already scored themselves some sponsorship. All they need now is some players...</DIV>
<DIV>.</DIV>
<DIV>Yeah, so if you're in the area (or have a personal LEAR), and you want to meet the sometimes-singing never-dancing gutterbug ME (Namphibian will be there too), go check out these sites:</DIV>
<DIV>.</DIV>
<DIV>http://plugin.digitallycreated.com - The LAN's official site.</DIV>
<DIV>http://www.ausgamers.com/events/index.php?agn=playerlist&id=1710 - Sign up here. If you don't want to sign up for Ausgamers, visit the forums on the main site... I'm sure we can sort something out.</DIV>

I'd love to come but can't see myself travelling down from Sydney anytime soon. I might be heading down that way later this year, so keep us up to date if you hold another, I might be able to make it  .

lol.

The LAN looks fantastic, but without a machine to travel through the inner core of this planet, I can't make it there.

<DIV>Bah, so no useful replies then. A pity. Unless Diablo manages to find our site...</DIV>
<DIV>.</DIV>
<DIV>Broadband is fairly common, where I live nearly everyone with a computer has it. But then, if you go West... :S</DIV>

broadband is available in metro areas and in regional areas if you live
within 4km of the phone exchange. The state of the telephone lines is
terrible in most places also so that also limits broadband... which
affects me :/
