Yeah those screens look pretty good. Just think the actual game will look better since you'll never play it in 740x460 (or whatever DVD dimmensions are, those are close though) So, you'll see all the detail that is gone from those shots because of the resolution

 Looks great. Except for that guy on the right -- he looks like he has a square arm. ( the only thing you can see is the guys arm, just look to the right of the pic )

:/ all I know is that Barney looked like a badass and it will be an honor to fight alongside him.

Apparently, PC Powerplay has also reviewed it and given it 90%, though this has yet to really be proven.
PC Powerplay havent reviewed it yet, they said they might have reviewed it by next issue (Oct 20 I think)

My favorite shot has to be the one with the 4 resistance members. The
room is pretty drab, probably on purpose, but their expressions and the
good character design really shine. Oh, and I agree about Barney
looking like a badass. I didn't really form much of an emotional link
with the characters in HL1 (too entertaining to shoot them), but Alyx
and the various others seem much more... Lovable?

Vivendi
have since commented
, and said that they're still determining a
release date. but they say it's "highly feasible" for a late November
release. We'll just to wait and see.
