Some of these missions are brilliant! Especially Big Smoke's missions.
Chasinh a train on a motorbike with Big SMoke gunning down people off
the top of it, or having HIM controlling the motorbike and you shooting
at russians on your tail...including, what has to be, the single-most
obvious T2 rip off in a video game ever. Here's a clue: a very large
truck is involved.

Orph, calm down.
I asked a simple question (which you still avoided).
Don't flip out at me on a different subject because you're ashamed of white people's past.
I disappointed you? You couldn't even answer my question, which was "yes" or "no". I didn't ask about stereotypes, racism, or any of that crap. I asked, did you think they wouldn't use that word in the setting they're using? I don't understand why you're breaking my balls over this.
f**k it now, though. Don't answer it, because I've come to the conclusion that you can't. For reasons that probably don't make sense.

Bluargdirard!
That still isn't what I asked.
I didn't ask anything about avoiding the word or the situation...

I'm not sure if anyone has successfully answered this question about why they chose a black ghetto over any other kind. I'm not sure if you guys pay any attention to most "popular" music charts in western countries, but they are dominated by black artists. Of course its all the same rubbish and most of them have no talent what so ever, but you could say black is the new black. If you were going to release a game that you wanted to make lots of money, I don't think you'd be choosing and eastern european ghetto or something.
You hearing what I'm saying Dawg, Ahh-ite!

This game should be rated "NFCP" (Not for crazy people).
Also there should be a two week cooling down period when it is purchased.
Honestly, the reality factor here is alittle off the hook.

OTZman(or whatever it was): It was a general argument. I was speaking about the whole "save kids from violence in games(and sell them guns on the street corners)" not only about GTA.

LOL, crono, i drive cross country, do you suppose there is a race, or ethnic group i haven't come across yet
and in spite of the blue, i would still be disturbed, but for different reasons i suppose..
you see, i don't change a channel on TV, just because a bunch of people are saying the "N" word.. it bothers me that people use the word.. it would bother me still more if i did..
my son will most likely end up with this game.. he is old enough to decide.
also, as i said, i don't like any driving games, the content of this one didn't push me away.. it didn't stand a chance in any form

They aren't remakes as such Crono, but each of them has been based on
the three cities of the first GTA. Strangely they skipped over San
Andreas and left it as the last, despite it being the second city in
the orignal (with Vice City being the third).

GTA is only half driving, even as it may be the better half. Also, only that first sentence was directed at you, sorry for not clarifying.
My point was that: people stereotype a s**t load of races every day. The only reason why they get touchy about blacks is because of American Slavery issues. YET, in general, we turned a blind eye to what America did to Asians in the US during WWII and what they're trying to do to Arabs in the US now (More or less a year or so ago). I just find it odd that people take more responsibility because of their color for something they didn't do instead of taking little, if any, responsibility for things they do everyday that is part of a bigger problem. It's just odd.
ReNo: Ah. I see. They should use London from that one GTA set in the 60s or whatever ... even though those were probably two different games, I don't remember.

crono, i get the distinct impression, that you are also stereotyping the snarkpit..
yes i know people who have issues based on slavery and such, but that has never been my decision maker.. in fact i have always been of a mind that history is best left in the past.. to often do i hear s**t about the south rising again, and other equally distructivness..
no, i am basically nonracial.. period. i also must say that i have never noticed any racial tendencies anywhere within the pit, so it sorta sounds unfair wading us all in your groups.
i am part cherokee, you think it possible for me to not know about the trail of tears? i have mexicans in my family, the santa anna thing still comes up.. i have irish as well, stupid drunks all of them, if i were to listen to the rumor mill.. no crono, i don't listen to, nor forget the past.. i just hate racism in any form.
people look at me odd, because i can be so hateful at times about fat people and gays, and an odd assortment of other stuff, but those are things people do to themselves, i have no more respect for them, than they do for themselves, but you cannot chose what color you are born with..
anyways, i have drifted a bit.. but i had to point out, i do not base my decisions on history, one way or the other, and i would be the first to point someone out who was evil in such a way.

The entire point of CIVIL RIGHTS is that you don't discriminate against people's choices. You can hate fat people all you want, but you have to respect that it is their right to choose to be fat.
If you'd like to discuss obesity though: In a lot of cases it can be seen as a mental disorder. Simply because most people who're overweight and younger (around 20) might have been raised with certain diets and habits passed down from their parents.
For younger then that (around 8 ), the parents (usually) choose exactly what and when the child eats. Potentially causing eating disorders with their children.
Saying being fat is not a disease is true. However, what causes those people to eat the way they do might be. In any case, it's their choice.
The same goes with all other life choices, from sexuality to political party. You can disagree with them, but you should never discriminate in the sense of treating them differently.
The main problem is, people see a lot of these issues and one or the other, when there are hundreds of varying degrees within these issues.
Don't respond to this, since I'm ranting.

I've barely seen anything with George Burns, but I recognize the joke now.
Most films and such I know about are things that came out right before (20 years before) I was alive or during my lifetime. Obviously.
