I tihnk that he means is that he compared games to real life before HL2 and now Compares them all to HL2. Questo ? che lei significa per dire?

If you want good graphics, step out side, and take a gander. If you
want some graphics that can NEVER mimic real life, then play a video
game. The moral here is that computer games will never be a good a real
life......besides Doom 3 has 10x better graphics than HL2.

Er yeah... great thread man. Give this guy a break, it's clear his first language isn't English.
As for half life 2 being ultra realistic - it is, and it isn't. the
physics are a little clunky and annoying at times (99% enjoyable though)
And despite the beautiful water and addition of props, the whole engine
still has a horrible jaggedness about it even running on full
details/high resolution etc - don't get me wrong, i'm mightily
impressed, but it definately doesn't feel like a huge graphical jump to
me.
