The only thing I can think of is to create an image of the disc and then burn the image.

Often the "exact copy" isn't as exact as making an image. You never know.

Use CloneCD and just do a "cloning" of the CD. I can get you the program if you want since they don't make it naymore and the new version that is out is actually a BIGTIME spyware package. let me know.

On the site of Daemontools, there's lots of info about different
security systems for cd's, and how to bypass them. (for backup purposes
only, of course ! )

alcohol 120% is a good program for creating images of cd's.
If you use it be careful cos some games wont run with it installed because it's used to copy all sorts of games and programs.
[Edit]
good timing on asking about alcohol 120% orph cos i was just typing this as you posted.

it makes a copy of ANY type of CD. I have never tried a Karaoke, but it has done those music CD's with bonus Cd-ROM stuff and it has done VCD's alright. I am almost positive that it will work for you. If not i have other progs like "Blindread" that copies it bit-by-bit instead of file-by-file. How do i get CloneCD to you? Email a ZipFile? what address?

I know. Mine deletes anything with a .ZIP. so i took the extension off the end of the file name. You'll have to add it back when it gets to you, because right now there is no extension! Hope it all works for you did u get it yet?

oh. that sucks. It's not TOO important is it? I could probably copy it for you if you really needed me to. you can stop by on your way to oregon, I live pretty close to Jonesboro. I don't gather it's that importnant, but I am offering as a show of my appreciation of your kindness to me when i was a n00b, and your helpful editing comments that have helped me in the past. AND while i'm at it, I respect your calm nature during flamewars.
