Why didn't you put this under "single player" for Half-Life 2? It's under "Others" currently.

Because City 13 mod isn't single player and it's a mod of Half life 2 which isn't out yet

Nice landscaping, but your fog work is poor... You should set a larger distance between start and end in fog ent controls.

Looks cool, nice use of displacement tool in that first pick. Yeah it
doesnt need to be full of props and details if tanks are gonna be
rolling thru F'in stuff up. LOL

Still, unless the players actually start inside the tanks, it could use
a little sprucing up with more places to hide. If its anything
like BF 1942, the players not in tanks will want places to hide until
they can get a tank themself, or frag a tank from on foot.
Nice displacement work on that first shot though, better than mine, heh

Excellent displacement work, still looks a little bare even for a beach. Try adding some of the rock models (see under wasteland props I think) ala island17, or maybe even sea defences/wooden barriers (can't remember what they're called) down to the shoreline.
For places to hide just add a few more displacements up and down the coast to make hills/mounds.. nothing worse than spawning into wide open levels or having to make a run for it across open ground in single player.
Shot #3 - you wouldn't find a tree so close to the shore i'm pretty certain, try replacing it with a wooden shack or moving it up to the next tier of cliffs behind it.

Also, I dont know how many trees have tire swings with no sign of life around them.
If this is going to be a tank mod then I think it would be really cool
to make some 100% physic buildings that a tank could drive over and
crush.
Displacment looks nice, its hard to tell from screens but it looks like you have some unatural rock formations.

Thanks for the tips, the tree, i will change, i was asked by the co-leader to make two fortesses aka Day of Defeat style (dod_charlie)
The idea is that the rebels invade the beach and destroy the fortresses using tanks and the combine defend!
I will fix the rock formation because it is a tad unatural because the main idea of them was to stop people from going over there but i can move them about a bit to get a more natural feel.
Thanks again for tips and an update will begin soon, involving tunnel (highway style) that leads out to the top of cliff and down towards beach.

nice new picture! you need to give some space on the sides of the
road though. Looks like a big wall with a street on top.
god knows I wouldn't drive on that...

I have some bad news...
Sadly the City 13 Mod leader has given up and the rest of the team have just split.
Thus this has left my map useless for the mod. I am going to finish it one day for HL2DM and as I want it to be rather than following thhe plan given to me when I was asked to make this.
Oh and there will be no tanks
