Is a prop_vehicle_driveable in Hl2 dm actually intended to be dirveable? I used the airboat model and it's corresponding script file, but when compiled after i put an origin in it would just slowly back up until it runs into a wall and stop. when you try to get in, it does the animation of you getting in a vehiicle, then you are just stuck and it won't move. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I'm not sure if jeeps and airboats are intended to be used in deathmatch yet, if im not mistaken they do cause a lot of lag, but other than that I'm not sure what you want to do with a prop_vehicle_drivable. Are you trying to make an airboat or jeep? cuz you can use the prop_vehicle_jeep/airboat for that no prob. what are you trying to do?

I just want a driveable vehicle, like the dune buggy or the jeep. I know there is a jeep script file but there I havn't seen a model for a jeep. I know there is a model for the buggy, but I don't see any script file for it

I have no idea at all, but try using, like Carcase said, the prop_vehicle_jeep/airboat.

I made on with the airboat model, and the airboat.txt script file, and I specified an origin (if I don't, it just flips around out of control and kills anything in its way lol)
The problem is when It spawns right at the beggining it just slowly backs up until it runs in to the wall, then stops, and won't do anyhting. When I try to get in it, it does the "getting in a vehicle" animation, but you just like sit there on the side of the vehicle facing it, and can't do anyting. It won't move, or let you get out.

Alright Never mind i Figured it out, I decompiled an Hl2 map to discover that you simply use a prop_vehicle_jeep instead of prop_vehicle_driveable in order to attain my o so sweet driveable dune buggy

Any vehicle in a multiplayer map is error-prone. You can drive the jeep around, but you have all sorts of problem associated with it. They are just not designed for multiplayers.

sp would be cool, im thinking of making an sp map where you stand in
some kind of underground combine trainstation, and theres some rebel
dudes on the tracks talking to you, and then a razortrain would come in
and drive them over, and then you should hop on the train and
do...something, like...western style
