Hi i was wondering if any one can teach me how to make switchabe/animated textures for halflife 2.

im curently using func_wall_toggle to change to a diverent texture.

but i want to use animated textures that can change a frame if they r
triggered but i do no you use env_texturetoggle for it but i dont know
how to script it

I done a seach on google being interest how it was done and found this
tutorial,

I just followed that tutorial and it works fine.

Here's a test map (bsp and vmf):

The only thing I did differently was use Nem's VTFedit to create the
multi-frame texture, simply because it's easier to use than vtex.

well i should give that program a try :smile: at least i found an anwser in
this post to include my custom tex in my MAPS :wink: i should give the
animated texture a try again :smile:

the texture is animated now... :sad: lol but any way i know now how to
make and use switchable textures.thanks for your suport :smile: and thanks for the tip to use vmtedit&pakrat :smile:
