Basically, you walk around in a poorly rendered room, type responses
out, and interact with a married couple (Grace and Trip). The voice
acting is pretty good , and the text parser is on par with some of the
more intelligent internet chat bots. Sometimes what they say is shockingly
perceptive and relevant!... Other times, it's just hilariously stupid.
But in the end it's kind of predictable after 1 or 2 playthroughs, and
the 800mb download isn't very justifiable.

(I'm Gonzalo - and keep in mind that Grace and Trip's responses are all spoken, recorded dialog!)
GONZALO

Tell me about Italy.

TRIP

Gonzalo, quit it, just drop the whole goddamn Italy thing already. (frustrated sigh)

GONZALO

Tell me about italy!

TRIP

(little sigh) (clears throat)

TRIP

Now, now, Gonzalo, in one word, what does this picture make you think of? (edit: the picture is of italy)

GRACE

Oh, please, Trip, don't put our friend on the spot like that.

GONZALO

Death.

TRIP

No, no, that's not it --

GRACE

Yeah, that's a fine answer, I like that...!

TRIP

No, no... Gonzalo, take another look, this says... what.

GRACE

How about suffocating.

GONZALO

... Love!

TRIP

Yes, that's it! Love! Romance! I knew you'd guess it!

TRIP

Uh! Everything in Italy was so romantic... the scenery, the food,
the wine... oh, and the art! The art! Isn't that right
Grace?

GRACE

(short petulant sigh)

GRACE

(little sigh) Gonzalo, I liked your answer better.
But then other times...
GONZALO

Want me to pee on your face, Trip?

TRIP

Look, just quit the flirting right now, I'm warning you!

Hehe, that sounds pretty impressive! Was it suggested to you to ask about Italy?

Actually, it was just a brief allusion in the beginning - and that was
because I caused it with some weird behavior (you can hug/kiss/comfort
them at any time, it's hilarious).
(Trip opens the front door.)

TRIP

Gonzalo!!

TRIP

Hi! It's so great to see you! -- (interrupted)

(Gonzalo hugs trip.)

TRIP

Ha ha, hi!

TRIP

Wow, it's really really -- (interrupted)

(Gonzalo kisses trip.)

TRIP

Oh... you're doing the European-style greeting... we just
got back from a trip to Italy, but the men only did that with women...
generally... but, um...
The flow of each playthrough is basically the same though, so I'm not
sure if this is really the "future of gaming," but it's an impressive
(FREE of charge!) experiment nonetheless. Just think - what if I didn't
hug and kiss him right at the beginning (and scare him a bit in the
process!)? That whole Italy thing would have never came up. Then maybe
I could have saved their marriage, instead of repeatedly asking if I
could pee on his face. It's about as nonlinear as you can get with such
a detailed narrative. Only problem is that all the content has to be
handmade; the whole conversation group about Italy had to be specially
tailored for me and my responses, which obviously limits what you can
do.

Hasn't my mixed view made it obvious? I don't know whether it's good or not!
