Hey whats up guys? Good to see most of you are all still here  I "lost" the site when you guys switched from .com to .net and for awhile I thought the Snarkpit had ceased to be!

I am still working on the Goldeneye Mod. We do have some open maps available if anybody is interested.

Runway

Surface (displacement hell)

Caverns

Jungle

The main reason I'm posting though is that we really need people with experience in compiling. We have a lot of stuff ready to go ingame.

http://www.goldeneyesource.com Our mod is looking for coders and people experienced compiling models/animations for HL2. We are also looking for animators to work on weapon animations specifically. If you are interested in joining then please post in our recruitment forums http://forums.goldeneyesource.com/index.php?showforum=16 or get in touch with me. MSN: studio420@hotmail.com

Thanks.

Hey again, long time no see

What do you mean about needing people with experience compiling? Do you
mean maps, or models/textures/code? If maps, there really isn't all
that much to it - like HL1 you just run the tools in the right order,
specify compile parameters, and away you go.

Seeks Coders/Animators/Compilers
<span style="color: lightblue;">What's that you say?<br style="font-style: italic;">
<br style="font-style: italic;">
<span style="color: white; font-style: italic;">I think he referres to something else (as in mappers). I really don't feel like working for a mod who's representative doesn't know what a compiler is  .</span>

I might want to make a map or too for ya. I really would like to make "Stack" from the multiplayer maps.

also, are you providing textures? or do the mappers have to make them for themselves

We can compile maps Reno.

What I mean by compiling is converting models/animations to .smd format to go ingame. For example we have a new autoshotgun and grenade launcher that need to be put ingame.

Yes we have texture artists available to the team. We do have two versions of the stack level completed already, but thanks for your interest.

I looked at this smilie for a good minute and don't have any idea what it is. :kitty: What's he holding? I'm afraid to ask.

It's several ounces of fine cocaine- no, wait, it's probably just a kielbasa sausage or some bavarian cream-filled donuts.
