I like simple too, but I think you could make the site a little more pleasing on the eyes. Maybe a subtle color scheme?

Yeah, it's too simple. I understand your point on the front page, however, your lack of style looks too much like a piece of paper and THAT is annoying.

At the very least choose a different color scheme (light on dark), since it is being viewed on a monitor and not a piece of paper.

As for your content I haven't looked around much.

I agree about the light on dark, even a warm grey would work.
Also, center your page, I like to look at the middle and not far left
of my screen.

I like the simple easy to navigate style

I agree with a warm grey and the middle layout. I think it would look heaps better.

Not to be the stick in the mud but, the maps page took almost 8 minutes to load all those thumbs. I'd recommend breaking the page in two for any 56k people. I couldn't get a size to display on them but they seemed to be a bit high res for simple thumbs. Prolly seemed that way because it was trying to load more than one at a time.

Margins & Text alignment, please. Some color would do too.

Otherwise, keep up that clean & simple-attitude.

After getting used to the Snarkpit's black theme, its hard to deal with bright white pages.

Jumps up and down excitedly

I have not been back to XAT in a while, but while I was searching for a free thumbnail generator (which I have yet to locate) I came across this.

Anyone making new web pages might want to look into it.
