Hi,

I am building a MOD on Half-Life 2 and it is going slow and don't know everything about Scripting..

I am building Zelda from the Super nintendo but my version is 3D.
I have started with the game textures and map layout.

I need people that are intrested to build this with me!

I am looking fore some Script editors and skin editors.

If you are intrested contact me lethal_toxic@msn.com

Hi Stuart. Why not post some images of what you have so far, to help get people interested in your project?

I smell a lawsuit!

Not to be negative or anything, but someone came here with a similar
idea for harry potter, and that ended up with a lenghthy descussion
over what was legal and what was not.

In anycase, I wish you good luck with your project.

Phew ...

I don't think the SNES version of Zelda would come to rights in a 3D version, but that's just my point of view.

Other than that, you need a bloody brilliant coder to write that in 3rd person.

I wish you best of luck with the project.

I know I need a good programmer so thats why I came here..
Well it still in procces so I don't have good prictures..
It is a Third party game and I can build what ever I want and Zelda "a Link to the past"is old and doesn't have any licens anymore. Figured that out :grenade:

I have 2 people that can program but they know basics i need an advanced programmer.

Geez, that's a huge project if I understand you correctly. Usually it's best if the programmer/project-leader/mapper is one and the same person for the first steps. You have to get someone really dedicated because a mod like this can't be done as a quick freelance project on the side. I'd check out some Zelda forums, too, trying to get someone who is as much a huge fan as you are ^^

Sounds like a huge undertaking indeed. Got some previous experience with modding, and actually finishing some projects? Because you're gonna need it for things of this size...

I just need advanced Programmers with tallent..
and some people that want to join in! So don't complain and give me a lot of s**t ok?. You like it you may join, you don't like it then don't bother me! :kitty:

Heh, ok then.

Thing is, too many mods fail and I've seen too many people without experience start the biggest projects (and quite predictably fail usually). So when you don't show your experience, people are going to assume you have none. A portfolio would help getting some people interested, methinks.

We're just saying the truth but you're free to try it the hard way. I'd love to play Zelda on Source, actually!
